Embassy
of Lebanon and Embassy of Ukraine hosted a
piano recital by Tatiana Primak-Khoury
Under the
auspices of the Ambassador of Lebanon
Antoine Chedid and the Ambassador of Ukraine
Oleh Shamshur, a joint cultural event was
hosted last week at the Embassy of France in
Washington DC featuring the talented pianist
Tatiana Primak-Khoury. The event was
followed by a diplomatic reception to honor
the performer.
Tatiana was
born in Ukraine, studied piano under
I.Riabov at the Tchaikovsky Higher
Conservatory of Music in Kiev and is
currently Professor of Piano at the
Conservatoire Supérieur du Musique in
Lebanon. She is Also “Artist-in-Residence”
at the Balamand University in Lebanon.
Tatiana is a
prolific artist, currently performing a
large number of recitals per year in Lebanon
and overseas. She is married to Houtaf
Khoury, a Lebanese composer with many works
to his credit.
Critics and
classical music aficionados who have
listened to her performances consider
Tatiana a “world-class” talent. She is a
winner of numerous awards at national and
international piano competitions.
Undoubtedly, she will be taking her place
among pianists of international acclaim.
