The Lebanon Mountain Trail: The Lebanon Mountain Trail (LMT) is a 300 km national hiking trail that stretches from Akkar in the North to Marjayoun in the South. The LMT follows a carefully-delineated path to adventure and discovery that enables the voyager to experience first-hand the natural beauty, culture and history of Lebanon's mountains and diverse rural communities. Funding for the LMT project is provided by the US Agency for International Development (USAID), in collaboration with ECODIT Liban and various Lebanese organizations.
